SPF is an index indicating effectiveness in protecting the skin against UV-B waves, which cause redness and inflammation on the skin in a short time and are linked to darkening of the skin.
PA is a ranking that indicates the degree of protection afforded against UV-A rays, which cause temporary darkening and result in loss of skin flexibility after long exposure.
SPF and PA rankings are values measured according to internationally prescribed testing methods. They should be thought of as criteria for selecting a product.

A sunscreen that protects from UV rays whilst caring for skin, Mary Quant’s “BLOCK AND BLOCK” was first launched in 1993 and has continued to be a fan-favourite product until today. The high sun protection SPF50+ PA++++ remains unchanged, but this new version also blocks harmful substances found both indoors and outside.
This sunscreen won’t lose to sweat or water, but is completely removed with cleanser or body soap. The watery application of BLOCK & BLOCK feels like you’re applying a serum to your skin.

This sunscreen has high UV protection with SPF50+ PA++++. It doesn’t just protect from UVB rays which affect the surface of your skin, it also protects from UVA rays which penetrate deep into your skin. This sunscreen is perfect for everyday use but is also suitable for outdoor activities like going to the beach or for a mountain hike.

HOW TO USE
Suitable for use for both face and body. Take a small amount on your hands and spread evenly on your skin.
When removing, please use a cleanser or body soap and then thoroughly rinse.

*When using on your face, we recommend applying after your usual skincare routine.
**Please reapply throughout the day for continued protection, especially after sweating or after rubbing your face with a towel.
